Persepolis Blog 1
In the book Persepolis, it came a time where women had to wear a veil. Genders where seperated and the girls could not show any part of their body as well as be with the boys at school. They had protests against them and Marjane's mother was in them. A german had taken a photo of her so she had to dye her hair and wear dark sunglasses. Marjane wanted to be a prophet because their maid did not eat with them, her father drove a cadillac, and mostly because her grandmother was in pain. Marjane's relationship with god was very close. She would talk to him at night and have discussions with him, and about her being a prophet. Marjane found out that his uncle was a prince and was supposed to be king.
